What is the purpose of the box with the number 0 in it to the right of the DTTSP Auto Restart in the PowerSDR Setup/General/Hardware Config screen?

The box shows the number of times PowerSDR suffered a "DPC latency" issue (which caused the DttSP to freeze) in which PowerSDR needed to Restart the DSP. If you hold your mouse over the box, a ToolTip will explain.

And for others who might have questions:
High DPC latency can indicate some other Windows background process, or Device Driver, is not providing enough time for the PowerSDR DttSP to keep operating in "Real-Time". If you were streaming music on your PC, it would appear as a pop or crackle. But the PowerSDR DttSP can freeze up.

If you see numbers other then 0, just note that in addition of bad Device Drivers, Chrome can cause issues, Microsoft automatic updates in the background (which you cannot always see, except in the task manager), or Windows Defender scans (which again you cannot see, except in the task manager), etc. etc.

Also, the Windows "Task Manager" can show you possible issues when you select "More Details"

I include this for my own future ref:
If you want to view the list of currently running Device Drivers (and ALL drivers), download the NirSoft InstalledDriversList program (free):
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/installed_ ... _list.html
There is a 32bit (to view 32bit drivers), and 64bit version (to view 64bit drivers).

Darrin- Thank you

I am seeing PSDR freeze ups occasionally but with the DttSP Auto Restart box checked the DttSP Restart counter stays at zero. A manual Stop/Start of the PSDR starts PSDR running normally again.
