i read on various forums about this mode of Baseband rx. basically recording the entire HF spectrum on HD in your absence and reliving it live.
I ask Darrin with power sdr is it feasible?

I made a video on exactly how to record and playback the entire band (up to your SR).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PlhqNuMiyjw

It covers all the audio recording and playback stuff.

I'm following your procedure but at a certain point I can't read what number is written in DDS clock Offset. I have 0.0
IF (Hz) 0.0

as I understand it I can only record and relive as if it were live only the 192khz spectrum of the selected band

Dont mess with the DDS offset. The offset is automatically set when you run a setup->general->Calibration

Just 0 the IF(hz)

You can only record (and playback) what the radio is capable of capturing. For the Flex-5000 and 3000 its 192khz wide (example: 14.158 to 14.350mhz)

FYI: If I enabled it, You could transmit the 192khz signal back over the air, like when the band is Dead, and all your friends would be able to listen to all the conversations across the 192khz of band, not realizing that its all a recording. :0

Last question.
can this Baseband rx mode can also record with 2 receivers open? for example record the 20 meters and 40 meters?

I believe the IQ wave recording currently only works for RX1.

I could probably put in a switch to select RX1 or RX2.
