I’m using KE9NS PowerSDR more these days after selling others radios and out my Flex 3000 back in use . Is the green AGC line a KE9NS feature ? I don’t recall seeing it in older versions of PowerSDR . Would the correct use of this line be setting it just above the noise floor or if you have a strong signal to set the green line higher towards the peaks of the strong signal ?

Re: Riding the green AGC-T line ?
I added it a while back.
If PowerSDR console is in "Focus" hold your mouse of the AGC-T and tooltip Help will appear:
If you right click on the AGC-T text on the console screen it activates the green line in the Pan.
Then you can put your mouse over the AGC-T text you see just above the green line (on the are left side of the Pan) and (left click and hold) pull up or down to move the the line.
To set this up, adjust the AGC-T slider (on the main screen) so the background noise is low (its a subjective thing), then turn off the "Avg" button so you see where the real noise floor is. Go to "Setup->Display->AGC-T line adj" slider. Move the slider offset (back and forth) to adjust the AGC-T line so its right at the noise floor or a little lower.
If you need to you can grab the dBm vertical values on the left side of the pan and pull up/down to adjust the height of the noise floor on the screen.
Done.
I suggest turning the Avg button back on (toggle to "AvgP" to average just the Pan and not the waterfall)
Now when you grab the AGC-T line on the Pan and (left click and hold) pull it down the background noise and audio levels will rise. When you pull the line up, you will hear only strong signals above the line.
You can right click on the AGC-T text to toggle it on/off
Of course every band or antenna change will require adjustment as I dont have a AGC-T slider offset save for each band or antenna.
