I'm having a problem installing PowerSDR v2.8.0 on Windows7 sp1 using a Solid State Drive (SSD). PowerSDR works on a standard SATA Drive. I get the following Fatal error:
A procedure imported by "PowerMate.dll" could no be loaded.
at PowerSDR.Console..ctor(String[] args)
at PowerSDR.Console.Main(String[] args)
I had to add KB3033929 update to get VAC control panel to install. Is this a update problem?

It has nothing to do with the drive type.
you need to uninstall PowerSDR, then install .NET 4.5.2, then install PowerSDR

I found the problem. I needed Windows7 rollup update KB3125574 and KB3177467. I was trying to use the least amount of space on the SSD. Microsoft bites me again.
